Bunmi Odubanjo has a BSc in Human Physiology and started her Medical Communications career in 2011. She initially gained experience in planning and running international, national and local meetings designed to educate or inform Healthcare Professionals. During this period, she also developed her skills in communicating how a new or existing pharmaceutical drug or medical device addressed the unmet clinical and financial needs within the primary and secondary UK care setting.
Since 2015 Bunmi has worked as a Freelance Account Handler and Content Editor, which has strengthened her ability to co-ordinate in-house or freelance animators, copywriters, web and app developers, videographers, digital project managers and creative designers; when developing marketing and educational tools in print and digital format.
Bunmi has completed a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, and is passionate about advertising and medical education, due to their ability to improve access, awareness, acceptance and adherence to healthcare products, whilst also bringing about a positive behavioural shift that leads to an improvement in self-care.
Bunmi is now ready to apply a decade worth of experience in western-style marketing and medical communication towards making a positive contribution to the evolving Healthcare Communication space in Nigeria.
